CRCA/Bicycle Workshop is pleased to welcome two new riders to the team. It will take both of them to replace the incomparable Emma who has moved to New Jersey.
Alison Lonshein is a cat 4 rider who has been dabbling in racing for the past few years. The team has grabbed her and is preparing to throw her in the deep end of team tactics and racing fun. Plus, she is going to make us a truly professional team—now we'll have a doctor and a lawyer!
New to the area, Maggie Shirley is a cat 2 who previously rode with Genesis Scuba out of Athens, Georgia. Now a first-year med student in NYC, she continues to be stunned by the concept of 6am races, but is looking forward to post-race breakfasts and coffee runs to the Spoon.
The rest of us are just glad to have two new wheels to draft and look forward to a great season of racing!
